Jockey Stefano Cherchi has suffered a head harm and inner bleeding throughout a fall in Australia.

The 23-year-old, who has ridden 106 British winners, fell from Robert Quinn’s Hasime at Canberra.

The New South Wales Jockeys Affiliation mentioned: “Following a fall at Canberra right now {March 20], Stefano Cherchi has sustained a head harm and inner bleeding.

“Stefano has been transported to Canberra Hospital, the place medical doctors will assess the total extent of the accidents.

“We pray for Stefano.”
