Richard Simmons Responds to Considerations Over Message Saying He is “Dying”

The aerobics icon is apologizing to followers after confusion arose about his well-being over a March 18 message he wrote about well being that mentioned he is “dying.”

“Sorry a lot of you’ve gotten upset about my message immediately,” the Simmons wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) March 18. “Even the press has gotten in contact with me. I’m not dying.”

As a substitute, Simmons mentioned his authentic message was “about saying how we should always embrace every single day that we’ve got” and apologized for the confusion, signing off with, “Love, Richard.”

Simmons’ clarification got here hours after the 75-year-old posted a uncommon message motivating followers to maintain themselves.

“I’ve some information to inform you. Please do not be unhappy. I’m ….dying,” he wrote on X. “Oh I can see your faces now. The reality is all of us are dying. Day-after-day we stay we’re getting nearer to our demise.”
