Luke Laidley, 43, who drowned in Winnetka close to Centennial Park Seashore was Sept. 11 survivor

Luke Laidley, 43, jumped into the waters of Lake Michigan Tuesday when a tube his boat was pulling flipped and a number of youngsters began struggling within the water.
