Thick clouds of smoke stuffed the New York Metropolis skyline after a skyscraper close to the One World Commerce Heart burst into flames on Wednesday morning.
Fox 5 New York reported that FDNY officers responded to a hearth on prime of a 72-story skyscraper on Greenwich Avenue.
Fireplace officers on the scene shared that the fireplace stemmed from the skyscraper’s HVAC system on the 72-story constructing’s roof.
There have been no reported accidents from the fireplace, and firefighters have been capable of include the fireplace.
The heavy smoke in New York Metropolis brought about a momentarily panic amongst some New York residents who had flashbacks of the smoke that arrived on the horizon on 9/11.

Per The New York Post:
Thick plumes of smoke had been noticed bursting out of an under-construction skyscraper close to One World Commerce Heart after a hearth broke out on the constructing’s roof Wednesday morning.
No accidents had been reported within the blaze at 125 Greenwich St., an under-construction residential constructing, to which firefighters responded round 9:20 a.m., the FDNY stated.
Officers stated the fireplace began in an HVAC system situated on the 72-story constructing’s roof.
Development employee Jerson Valencia confirmed to The Put up that the smoke was rising from the constructing’s air-con duct.
The skyscraper that caught fireplace was a luxurious residential venture that has been below building for the final 5 years.
