CHICAGO (WLS) — Emergency crews are on the scene of a hearth at Smith & Wollensky restaurant in River North Friday afternoon.

The hearth reportedly began within the restaurant’s kitchen. There was a major Chicago Hearth Division presence blockading southbound lanes on State Road simply north of the river and smoke was seen from the road.

The reason for the hearth has not been launched. It was not instantly recognized if there have been any accidents. No additional data was instantly accessible.
