Chicago robberies: Police problem warning about Englewood armed theft incidents related to Fb Market postings

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are warning folks on the South Facet about robbers concentrating on victims via on-line gross sales.

Two armed robberies in Englewood have been linked to Fb Market.

Each befell on Jan. 20, one within the 6700 block of South Ada Road and the opposite within the 6700 block of South Elizabeth Road.

Police mentioned in each instances, the victims thought they have been shopping for a dust bike or bike from somebody named “Malik Inexperienced.”

As an alternative, when the they met to pay for the merchandise, the victims have been taken to an alley the place they have been robbed by two folks sporting masks and armed with handguns.
