Bolingbrook taking pictures: 15-year-old boy arrested after teen woman shot close to Lexington Drive and Lee Lane, police division says

BOLINGBROOK, Sick. (WLS) — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a teen woman was injured in a south suburban taking pictures on Friday afternoon, police stated.

Police stated the 17-year-old woman, shot close to Lexington Drive and Lee Lane, is in secure situation.

Residents within the space had been instructed to shelter in place as police looked for the teenager suspect, who has since been arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.

Police stated the taking pictures occurred throughout a narcotics deal.
