A Pint for Kim: Blood drive honoring Naperville mom who died of cancer sets state record

NAPERVILLE, Sick. (WLS) — A file breaking variety of folks rolled up their sleeves for a blood drive at Naperville Excessive College on Saturday.

Greater than 600 pints of blood have been collected for the fourth annual “A Pint for Kim” blood drive.

The blood drive is known as in honor of Kimberley Benedyk Sandford. It started in 2020, when Kim, a spouse and mom of two boys, was battling a most cancers so uncommon that her case was one in 10 million.
