Trump Defends ‘Patriot’ Ashli Babbitt at City Corridor, Slams Officer Who Killed Her as a ‘Thug’

Donald Trump defended Ashli Babbitt as a “patriot” and slammed the police officer who shot and killed her as a “thug” throughout Wednesday’s CNN city corridor occasion.

Trump Hammers Officer Who Killed Ashli Babbitt

Trump’s Previous Feedback on Byrd

This isn’t the primary time Trump has closely criticized the actions of the officer who opened hearth on Ashli Babbitt through the riot.

Responding to feedback again in February by Home Speaker Kevin McCarthy saying Byrd merely “did his job,” Trump once more countered that the officer was a “thug.”

Trump mentioned he “completely disagree(s)” with McCarthy’s evaluation, calling Byrd a “coward” and insisting Babbitt “was murdered.”

The revelations prompted Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton to declare there was “no good purpose” to shoot Babbitt.

“The Biden-Garland Justice Division … have a lot to reply for over the mishandling and cover-up of this scandalous killing of an American citizen by the U.S. Capitol Police,” Fitton mentioned.

Byrd, although, had been exonerated of any legal wrongdoing and was cleared internally by the Capitol Police Division in August of 2021.
