Rome’s Trevi Fountain Dyed Black By Local weather Activists, Wild Video Reveals

Rome’s famed Trevi Fountain — identified for thousands and thousands of well-wishes and much more Instagram selfies — wasn’t operating its pristine, blue water after a bunch of protestors took over … turning the H2O pitch-black.

Activists from the group “Ultima Generazione” — or “Final Technology” — took a dip in Italy’s iconic fountain Sunday … bringing diluted charcoal alongside and pouring it into the water.

Clearly, their handiwork was a giant attraction … with some onlookers booing as they stood in solidarity in the dead of night water, holding up banners protesting using fossil fuels.

Cops jumped in and dragged the protesters out of the fountain. The Trevi’s been dyed crimson a few instances as a stance in opposition to authorities corruption … it is clearly a protest sizzling spot.
