Oversight Republican Subpoenas Feds Over Alleged Hunter Biden Interference

Home Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., stated Tuesday he’s sending six subpoenas as a part of an investigation into allegations of the Biden administration’s interference into the case of Hunter Biden, the president’s son.

Comer stated he’s subpoenaing U.S. Secret Service brokers, Division of Homeland Safety Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and staff on the company.

“The Division of Justice initiated the Biden household coverup and now DHS beneath the management of Secretary Mayorkas is complicit in it,” Comer stated. “Investigators have been by no means in a position to interview Hunter Biden in the course of the prison investigation as a result of Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition crew have been tipped off concerning the deliberate interview. The subpoenas are a part of a broader investigation into the interference into the Hunter Biden case. Comer, Home Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Methods and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., despatched a letter to the Secret Service in June wanting solutions to allegations that the Secret Service might have helped intrude into the investigation into Hunter Biden.
